Hey there, so I’ve got a sales team wondering about this. They’re trying to handle a scenario that looks like this…
A potential customer had found our product through their online travels and filled out a form to be a lead in our system, creating this customer as a contact. However, the customer goes on hiatus and we aren’t able to reach them. In this way, they end up aging themselves out of call workflows that we would want them to go through.
Later on, the same customer comes across our product again and fills out another form to be created as a contact again in our Hubspot instance. However, this application merges with the existing contact and the customer does not end up going down our call workflows.
The sales team thinks that the best solution would be to turn off the feature that merges new contact submissions with existing ones. This way the new contact will go down the call pipelines we’d like them to go down.
Is there some way to do this or is there a better solution?
