Is the "Code" on the certificate the "certification number"

So I just took a course, Social Media, and thought it was a certification course. But I’m unclear about whether it was just a feel good course, or it has actual merit with a certification number attached. I received and downloaded the certificate which had a “code” on it. Is that the certification number, because it is about 30 digits long.

The Social Media course you took is a certification course and the “code” you are referring to is the certification number.
