I’m looking to have make.com and zapier utilize the orders object better.
Since you can’t use or create the object in a workflow, we would hope to generate and process orders in an iPaas such as make or zapier.
When I create a custom action to POST an order, I get error messages since make doesn’t have access to post get or fetch orders.
Thanks,
Thanks for this post @CBirkett1! Could you post some screenshots of the errors you are experiencing? When seeking assistance from the community, it can be super helpful to provide specific details about the requests you’re making and your overall integration goals to help others suggest potential workarounds.
Best,
Kennedy
Thanks for the response kennedy. This is a similar example (I must’ve deleted my orders one, but the same issue occurs) Where I try to post updates to exchange rates. Since Zapier doesn’t have permissions to access settings (same with orders, invoices etc) it can’t post/patch to add/edit the settings.
Thanks for that example @CBirkett1! If you test the call in the v3 Orders API Developer Documentation do you get the same error (outside of Zapier)?
I want to invite some subject matter experts to see if they have any suggestions.
Hey @mangelet, @Gonzalo, @Mike_Eastwood do you have any thoughts on what may be causing this scope error?
Best,
Kennedy
