# Is Closed Won in correct

When we transition deals from quote to deal negotiations in our pipeline, it automatically changes a bunch of settings - Is Closed Won, Is Closed, Is Deal Closed? etc. These all impact our closed deal amount on our dashboard, however, the deals aren’t actually closed.

Whats the best way to either stop this, or modify this?

Hi @Serdel1,

‘Is closed won’ and ‘Is closed won (numeric)’ are default HubSpot properties and update automatically when a deal is moved to a won stage. A won stage is one where the probability is set to ‘Won’, see below: [Set up and manage object pipelines](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/set-up-and-customize-your-deal-pipelines-and-deal-stages#to-customize-your-deal-stages)

If you don’t want these properties updated when moving deals to a certain stage, make sure its probability is not set to ‘Won’.
