Hi,
An invitation email is not received by the recipient. According to related community posts, this issue can arise if the invitation email is bounced. I believe we are facing this issue as the initial invitation was sent while the target email account wasn’t yet fully configured. Now the target email account works fine, but resent HubSpot invitations are still not received. Could the address require a bit of “unbouncing”?
Best regards,
Justin
Hello @JVanhaecke, thank you for posting in our Community!
Are you currently not receiving the HubSpot system or notification emails?
If you notice that you’re not receiving HubSpot emails, follow the troubleshooting steps in this knowledge base article to confirm that your HubSpot notifications, email inbox, and allow listing settings are correct.
Or it’s an email sent from HubSpot to a user? The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps.
Thank you,
Pam
Hi,
As explained already, I am trying to invite a new user to my Hubspot account. I added the email address and sent an email invite, but the email bounced. I tried inviting my employee on Hubspot just after creating the mailbox in our webhosting environment. So the issue is probably that the mailbox wasn’t completely set up before I have sent the invite in Hubspot. Now because the invitation mail bounced once, it keeps having the same error when I try to send a new invitation email. I’ve read in a previous community post that a Hubspot support person was able to solve this issue by ‘unbouncing’ the invitation email.
Hello, @JVanhaecke thank you for confirming!
I went ahead and unbounded their account and sent a resub email too. They should be all set. I will be removing their email from our conversation for security purposes,
Kindly,
Pam
how do you unbounce an email? I am setting up a new hubspot account for my company and one user just simply is not recieveing emails from hubspot. I have put so much time into fixing this with no success that im just about ready to move on to a different crm.
