Introduce Yourself!

Here’s a polished version that fits the HubSpot community tone without sounding overly formal:

Hi everyone, I’m Issac Thomas from Bangalore, India.

  1. Current role: I work across content marketing, growth strategy, and marketing operations, and I’m currently building my independent practice. My background includes managing content, social media, analytics, campaigns, employee advocacy, and digital marketing for B2B technology companies.

  2. Industry: Most of my recent experience has been in B2B SaaS and fintech, particularly financial-services technology.

  3. What excites me about Data Management & Reporting: I’m interested in connecting marketing activity to actual business outcomes. I’ve worked with HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other platforms, and I want to get much better at structuring data, building meaningful reports, and turning fragmented marketing and sales data into insights that teams can act on.

  4. Resources I recommend: HubSpot Academy has been one of my go-to resources, particularly because it combines the technical side of reporting with the business context behind it. I also spend quite a bit of time experimenting with GA4 and learning through practical projects.

  5. What I’m working on: I’m currently strengthening my skills around RevOps, analytics, automation, AI-assisted workflows, and reporting while building projects that combine content, marketing data, and growth strategy.

  6. What I hope to get from this group: I’d like to learn how other practitioners structure their data and reporting, solve real-world attribution and CRM challenges, and build dashboards that help people make better decisions rather than simply display more metrics.

Looking forward to learning from everyone here and contributing wherever I can.

Hi everyone,

My name is Jorge, I’m from Spain, and I have a background in Global Sport Management. Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience across sports operations, ticketing, revenue management, customer experience, and technology-driven environments.

I currently work in ticketing and revenue at Real Betis Balompié, where I’m involved in areas such as CRM, dynamic pricing, inventory management, sales processes, and fan analytics. Before that, I worked in operations at a tech company, as well as in sports event operations, which helped me develop a strong interest in how different teams, processes, and systems can work together to improve business performance.

I’m taking this RevOps course because I want to strengthen my understanding of how Sales, Marketing, and Operations can be aligned through data, technology, and efficient processes. I’m particularly interested in CRM, automation, analytics, revenue growth, and using technology to make better business decisions.

Looking ahead, my goal is to continue developing in roles where I can combine sports and entertainment with technology, data, revenue, and operations. I’m especially interested in fast-growing and international companies where I can take on new challenges, learn continuously, and eventually grow into more strategic and leadership-oriented positions.

I’m looking forward to learning from this course and connecting with professionals from different backgrounds.

Hi everyone! :waving_hand:

I’m Shania, currently working in Qatar in a client-facing business services environment, with experience across business development, client relationship management, commercial coordination, and EOR/outsourcing services.

I’m particularly interested in Revenue Operations because I see it as the intersection of sales, customer experience, CRM, data, and business strategy. In my current experience, I’ve worked with client accounts, CRM processes, proposals, renewals, service agreements, and multiple internal and external stakeholders, and I’m now looking to develop a much stronger understanding of how these functions can be connected through structured RevOps processes and data-driven decision-making.

What excites me most is learning how organizations can turn customer and sales data into actionable insights — improving processes, strengthening client relationships, identifying opportunities, and ultimately supporting sustainable revenue growth.

I’m currently focusing on developing my skills in CRM, data management, reporting, sales enablement, and Revenue Operations, and I’m excited to learn from professionals who are already applying these concepts in real-world environments.

I’m hoping to gain practical knowledge, learn from the experiences of other professionals, and build a stronger strategic foundation that I can apply to my career in business development and commercial operations.

Looking forward to learning with everyone and exchanging ideas! :rocket:

I am currently an account manager at a local start up in my city. What excites me is that I am currently working on creating some dashboards, and widgets for the company I work for and I thought this would be a good way to ensure that I am providing the best data and feeding our widget the most important to help our client base grow. I always enjoy reviewing data and interpreting it. It makes sense to me and it is my happy place. I do not have a favorite blog/podcast but I am open to recommendations. I am working on a few new items as mentioned the dashboard, widget, and I am also assisting our development team with building out an automation platform for our clients to onboard with a few clicks of a button to become a client without having to speak to an employee at the company. It should improve onboarding efficiency, decrease employee time with clients who do not want or need it and allows clients to feel more empowered when they are using our platform. I am going to not only learn more about revenue ops but also get some cool and unique perspectives on how to collect and interpret data.

Can’t wait to have this certification complete and more knowledge to share with the company.

Hello Everyone

My name is Onyinye from Nigeria and I’m looking to switch up my career and was looking through the paths that align with my though process, thinking and abilities better and I came across RevOps.

Hello every one am Stan, thanks to hubspot for this great opportunity, only few companies offer free certs and opportunities like this, I love to make things work, i decided to venture into revenue engineering sometime ago but not formerly like this and it also seems that the term is not popular because its different from GTM, although am exposed to small scale SE development in php and laravel WP, I decided to explore CRM, data modelling tools like airtable, spend control tools, automation tools like make and zapier which i have used meaningfully in my portfolio projects, I have used hubspot but not extensively i am pleased to fid the certification, and i must finish it to ensure this resource wont be a waste on my end. I would be pleased to connect, engage and build healthy relationships from this community. Thank you hubspot am also in linkedln : www.linkedin.com/in/stan-abara

I’m especially interested in learning more about dashboards, reporting, CRM data, automation, and in time tools like SQL and Power BI.

  1. Do you have a favorite blog, podcast, video series or newsletter that you would recommend? I am a Special Projects & Operations Strategist at SpectC Technologies, and I also work as an administrative assistant for my local fire department. On top of that, I am wrapping up my bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Western Governors University!

My work spans software / technology strategy and public safety / municipal administration.

I love how clean, centralized data turns guesswork into clarity. Being able to uncover operational bottlenecks, track meaningful metrics, and give leadership the predictive visibility they need to make confident, data-driven decisions is what makes this work so rewarding.

I frequently lean into HubSpot Academy resources, operational frameworks, and RevOps thought leadership that focus on cross-functional alignment and process efficiency.

Right now, I’m focused on building scalable operational workflows, designing process documentation, and putting comprehensive RevOps strategies into practice as I step deeper into my strategist role at SpectC Technologies.

I’m hoping to connect with fellow professionals, exchange practical ideas on mapping revenue processes and overcoming data silos, and gain actionable frameworks that I can immediately apply in my work and this certificate program!

Hi everyone! I’m Yohannah, from João Pessoa, Brazil.

I currently work with marketing strategy, branding, content, and commercial intelligence, mainly in the real estate and construction industry. A big part of my work involves connecting marketing initiatives with business goals, understanding customer behavior, generating qualified opportunities, and improving the relationship between Marketing and Sales.

What interests me most about Data Management, Reporting, and Revenue Operations is the possibility of seeing the business beyond isolated marketing metrics. I want to better understand how data can help us identify what is actually contributing to revenue, where opportunities are being lost, and how Marketing and Sales can work together more strategically.

I’m especially interested in questions like: Which marketing actions are bringing the most valuable leads? What happens to those leads after they reach Sales? Where are the main gaps in the customer journey? And how can reporting help us make better decisions instead of simply showing numbers?

In my current work, I’m constantly looking for ways to connect content strategy, lead generation, customer journey, sales feedback, and performance analysis. Studying RevOps feels like a natural next step because it gives me a broader framework to understand and improve that entire process.

I don’t have one specific Data Management or Reporting resource to recommend yet, as I’m still building my references in this area. I’m actually looking forward to discovering some through this community.

From this study group, I hope to learn from professionals working with RevOps in different industries, exchange practical experiences, and develop a more structured and data-driven approach to connecting Marketing, Sales, customer experience, and revenue.

Happy to be here and looking forward to learning with everyone!
