After careful research, I know that it is currently not possible to trigger Teams Notifications based on the object “Lead”.
For instance, I want to notify the owner of an account when a lead on his territory is moving from one stage to another, or when a lead gets created corresponding to a target account etc etc.
I found a turnaround:
- Instead of notifying via teams, edit a specific property at a contact level, that will be used as your trigger
- Create a workflow, and use that specific field, that when updated triggers your workflow
- Notify via teams of the update of that field, includes most recent lead info (yes that works)
