# Installing Tracking Code on Shopify

Hi there,

I’m trying to set up ad tracking on my Shopify store. I’m looking to paste the code in my theme.liquid file, but the file does not list \</body\> tag, as per Hubspot’s instructions.  
Has anyone else encoutered this problem before?

We’ve seen cases where the closing \</body\> tag was missing from theme.liquid due to either a misbehaved app or careless editing. That being said, the closing \</body\> tag in theme.liquid is required and should be either restored to its proper location or added to the end of the file before any other action is taken. (important)
