Later.com has now released a feature that allows Social Media managers to schedule Reels and Stories directly on the platform. The video must be done previously in another platform like Canva (not on Instagram), is scheduled like we do with a normal post, and that’s it. Freedom that I’m not having now because I need to post reels on my free time, which is when my audience is on Instagram. So, when will we have this feature?
Another basic thing is that you only allow to publish 1 photo on Instagram. This is tottaly out of date, compared with other platforms. I would like to see this features on Hubspot too.

Hi @teresamartins,

Social
Instagram Stories Support
August 13, 2024
What is it?
You can now publish and report on IG Stories all within the Hubspot Social tool. Instagram Stories are a temporary feed of photos or videos that vanish from your profile after 24 hours. This content is separate from your usual feed. Each post in a Story acts as a slide in a slideshow, with photos lasting seven seconds and videos up to fifteen seconds.
Why does it matter?
Instagram Stories give you prime placement in your followers’ feeds, allowing you to stand out and grab their attention. By consistently posting Stories, you can stay top of mind with your customers and bypass the constantly changing Instagram algorithm.
Stories also provide a perfect opportunity to showcase the human side of your brand. The informal and spontaneous nature of Stories allows you to connect with your audience on a more personal level, showcasing your brand’s voice and personality.
How does it work?
To create an Instagram Story post:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
- In the upper right, click Create social post.
- In the left panel, click the Select accounts dropdown menu. Then, select the checkboxes next to the Instagram accounts you want to post to.
- Select the Story option
- Under add media, you can select your photo or video
- Ensure your video meets the IG Story Requirements here
To review your Instagram Story post performance:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
- On this page you will see a list of your social media posts, navigate to your Stories Post and you will see Impressions and Reach Metrics.
- To review additional metrics, click “Details”, this will open the Social Details side panel where you can review your Story Exits, Taps Back, Tap Forward and Replies.
What are some API limitations for reporting on Stories?
- No stories data will be available for the first 25hrs after it is published
- The following stories metrics are available: Impression, Reach, Taps Forward, Taps Back, Exits, Replies
- You must have greater than 5 interactions on a story to see any insights.
Who gets it?
Marketing Pro, Marketing Enterprise
