Super support this, I’ve worked with prior systems where you have a dashboard/report and can inline edit the fields so that you can make many updates quickly across deals, customers, etc. Please prioritize and thank you!
This feature would be a big time saver for myself and my teammates to make updates to multiple accounts. It’s a lot of extra clicks to open an account, find the field I’d like to update, save it, then access another account and repeat multiple times.
I agree, this is a huge need for any HubSpot user. We found a way to do this with Troops (Salesforce Slack Integration to Maximize Sales | Salesforce). Grid is Troops inline editor that lets me update multiple records at once. I use it with both HubSpot and Salesforce and it’s really powerful and easy.
I can’t upvote this enough times. When my sales reps have to click Company, then View All Properties, then search, just to update a field after a call, that’s a royal pain, especially when they’re working on a list where the fields are visible. Please add this feature ASAP.

Totally. There are some (at least they seem this way) basic ‘me too’
functionality items that would REALLY bolster the value of Hubspot and make
it less of a barrier when comparing the two.

100% need inline editing (and the relevant permissions to go along with it). Every client asks for this feature.
The “Preview” slide-out is nice but doesn’t solve this need.
I find that working leads is best in a list view of contacts but I want to be able to quickly change lead status, jot down next steps, etc.

This! Is there no easy way to change a property value quickly and without going into individual records for contacts or companies. This is ESPECIALLY important for non-technical people. That it doesn’t exist doesn’t make any sense to me. Major obstacle to loving HubSpot.
Yes!!! Really need the ability to use inline editing. I have several views setup for different teams and they need to be able to quickly edit certian fields.

Yes, the fact you cannot do that is exactly the reason why i’m using Airtable when doing outreach even though i’d like to use hubspot only.
For all the people asking if an add-in exist, I’ve come accross that one Excel Add-in for HubSpot: Connection, Integration, Import and Bulk Edit Live Data. It basically allows to use excel to update hubspot. Not fully ideal, and I haven’t tried it yet but will give it a go till Hubspot add the feature.
