Hi,

I have connected my Facebook pixel to hubspot. I think I am getting 2 events from you, one is initial\_lead and the other is lead. What is the difference between these two pixel events? initial\_lead is always a bigger number than lead. I have a form on my website. Those who fill this form are indirectly added to the hubspot?

Hi @pythonogren,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

This is an excellent question! I was investigating and came across the article outlining the pixel [installation steps](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ads/install-pixels-from-external-ad-networks). It’s worth reviewing to ensure no step was missed, and that this may not be the reason for the behavior you mentioned.

Also, let’s check in with our experts to see if they might have some insights for you.

Hey [@Jigar\_Thakker](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/610147), @Jnix284, [@Phil\_Vallender](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/74) - Do you have any suggestions for @pythonogren?

Thanks,

Diana

The article is independent of my question. I already have pixel installed and no problem. I get 2 different events and what is the difference?

Hi @pythonogren,

Thank you for your message. In this case, I recommend reaching out to [HubSpot support](https://www.hubspot.com/company/contact) as your paid account grants you access to their additional resources. They have other tools that can assist you in identifying the root cause of this behavior.

Best regards,
