Hi All

We recently launched a site called [GymPal](https://askgympal.co.uk/) and have been having issues getting pages indexed.

It seems Google has indexed a bunch of pages, but there are a lot that just don’t seem to want to index.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Welcome to the Community @GymPal! Is your site built on HubSpot? I would reach out to their support if it is - they may have some help for you.

In general, to improve indexing of your site’s pages on Google, I’d make sure you’ve addressed core technical and content factors like _submitting a sitemap, strengthening internal links, preventing duplicate content, and monitoring key settings._ These are crucial steps for new sites facing slow indexing.

Here’s a quick list I found of helpful advice to consider as you’re trying to dial in your SEO.

- Submit XML Sitemap in Google Search Console: Manually create and upload a complete sitemap listing all your important URLs. This speeds up Google’s discovery of new pages and instantly prioritizes them for crawling.
- Monitor Indexing Status Regularly: Use Search Console’s “Page Indexing Report” to check which URLs are not indexed, why, and request manual indexing if needed.
- Check Robots.txt and Meta Noindex Tags: Confirm that robots.txt doesn’t block important pages and there are no noindex meta tags or headers on pages you want indexed. Mistakes here are common—especially with recent content and directory setups.
- Strengthen Internal Linking: Add internal links from already-indexed, high-authority pages on your domain to the non-indexed pages. Google finds new pages faster through links from strong, crawlable pages.
- Eliminate Duplicate or Thin Content: Make sure each page offers unique, high-quality information; use rel=“canonical” tags correctly to avoid confusing Google or causing pages to be skipped.

Hopefully that helps give you some things to work on in order to help your site get indexed better.
