Independent column editing in lists

Hi.

Currently, if I change the columns of one list, the other lists will also change their columns. I do not understand the reason for this. If I change the columns of a list, only the columns of that list should change, since each list collects different fields of information.

Agreed, I don’t understand the reasoning behind this either. It’s incredibly frustrating to keep having to edit columns for every list. Each list should have independent column settings because fields that are relevant for some lists won’t be relevant for others.
