When creating a new custom association card to appear on the right-hand side of an object, you must reference an existing object within your HubSpot. It would be great if the newly created association card did not add the input record into the standard object as well.
For example, we recently created an association card labeled “Business Partners”. This association card referenced the company object and displayed specific object properties which were different from the standard “Companies” object association card. We intend to use both the standard “Companies” association card and the newly created association card. The standard Companies card displays the other organizations that the specific company record is tied to (parent/child companies), but the “Business Partners” association card is intended to be used to display outside organizations that the company object record works alongside. These different cards would reference the same object, however, it would not place that selected associated record in both association cards, only the one where the selection was being made.
