I’m creating some Association Labels for Company>Company relationships and want to use these to create inbox views.
For instance, have a ‘Vendor’ inbox view for conversations where the contact is part of a company that has a Company>Company relationship to our own company with the Vendor Label.
Has anyone done this before? It doesn’t seem to be possible with any of the available properties when creating a view. Would you need to use an automation to assign tags?

I have a couple of questions on the above firstly!
1. It souds like you have a record for your own company in HubSpot. Is that correct?
2. If so, are the only Company to Company associations you are doing between your Company and other Companies?
If the above is the case I would reconsider how you are looking at this and simplify it a little bit. Instead of having a company record for your company and using association labels to determine relationships between your company and other companies, I would simply create a company property that tells you what the relationship is. You can assume that any company that’s in HubSpot is associated to your company in some way, so I don’t think you need an actual company record for your company.

HI @HMeiklejohn and welcome to the community. I’m going to +1 the suggestion from @LouiseHare here. It’s what I’d have suggested, as I prefer simple, and the association labels don’t work in the way you’re describing as I’ve understood them.

This would be simpler, having a boolean property for companys of ‘vendor’. I still don’t think I can use that in an inbox view though.

Thanks for clarifying! As I previously mentioned I don’t believe you need a record for your company in HubSpot. Instead you can assume that all companies are associated to your own and use company properties, such as a radio select to identify what that relationship is.
In order to be able to create an inbox view based on this information, you will need to create a workflow that copies whether the company that raised the ticket is a vendor or not to the ticket record. You will then be able to use this to create a custom view.
Here’s a quick look at the workflow I would create (note that I created a custom single checkbox property on Tickets called ‘Vendor’, but you might decide that you want to just copy the Company Type property across to the Ticket instead if you plan on creating views for the other company tpes.)
