Hi all. We currently use RingCentral EX (RingeEX) for inbound/outbound sales calls. We are open to other options such as HubSpot calling. When a call is received and there is no existing contact with the phone number, a contact is automatically created but there is no additional information captured, only the phone number. I would like to provide our sales teams the ability to capture the name, emails, at a minimum so a proper contact can be created, possibly additional information. Since some calls are not legit, (spam, pocket dial, wrong number etc), I would like to give them the ability to choose to create the contact or not. Ideally, they would also have the ability to create a lead after the contact is created and associate the contact to the lead. Thinking this will require a custom UI extension. My thought is to have a popup on an inbound call that A: looks up the phone number and pulls in the contacts information if it’s already in the system or B: provides an easy way to collect the info and create a contact and lead. Wondering if anyone has implemented a similar solution.

Hey @Lager_12,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

I can definitely see the value in this setup, for which I’d like to tag in some Community experts. @karstenkoehler, @Bryantworks, and @AdamLPW - do any of you have insight on how this might be possible for @Lager_12 and their team?
