# Improve Quote Template management

As longtime Hubspot users, all of our contracts are created and signed using Hubspot quotes. Over the years, our contracts have matured and there are a few versions for different types of engagements. This has led to dozens of quote templates, many are now hidden from use, but still clutter the Quote Template page.

**Feature Request to improve usability**

1. Add a column chooser to create visability of other template data (e.g., template creator, shown/hidden status, # of quotes using the template, etc)
2. Enable sorting and filtering of Quote Templates by Name, Date Created or Modified, or other columns.
3. Search of quote template names and/or content.
4. Folders to organize quote templates. (If nothing else, this would allow me to “hide” templates we haven’t used in 5 years.

I love this idea. If there was a version control function of the quotes, that would also be great!

I would rather see HS updates the template editor to support: header and footers, page break indicators etc.

Hi Jesse, one way to keep your contract versions tidy is to build them in our app DocuGen, with each engagement type as its own Word template, generated from the deal. Since it’s your Word file, the headers, footers and page breaks Hans mentioned come along exactly as you designed them. The deal’s contact, company, pricing and dates populate each contract, and the PDF saves to the deal’s attachments.
