In the insurance industry we have a list of industries specific to quoting. Would like to see an option for bulk import of customized industry names.
Hey @MargaretsHub, Are you importing these into a text field or did you mean a picklist? If its a text field, you can import industries anytime you import new contacts. If a picklist, you’ll probably want to standardize them first. It sounds to me like you want to standardize the industry names on the way in.
I just wanted to mention, that Insycle can do this. Full disclosure, I work for them. But Insycle’s Magicla Import module allows you to clean, standardize, and associate your CSV data on its way into your CRM system. Then you could standardize industries so that they are clean and consistent after import.
