Importing Companies with Parent Associations

Hello!
I have all the companies created in my CRM. I am now using Record ID’s to associate Parent labels to some of the companies. However, when I choose to “map my record ID”, the mapping guide shows my company as ready to import. BUT when I “associate” the record ID column (which is what I want), the mapping guide tells me the companies cannot be updated.
Please see screenshots to show the two different examples. Has anyone else run into this? I am trying to confirm capabilities before we leave our current CRM and pay for this one.

Looks to me like a small issue in your setup!

All you need to do is switch the IMPORT AS options for Record ID and Parent Company. It should looks something like this:

Thanks Corey! It did make the association, but not as a parent company… It is just associated without the parent now. How would I import it so that Parent ID is now the “parent company”?

Looks like I need to be able to add a label in the import… When I look it up in the knowledgebase it shows it is available for any package..

I don’t have the yellow highlighted portion you see in the image below..

For anyone that sees this and would like to know, I had to have my Parent ID column in there twice. Once mapped to a Company Property (Parent Association), and another column with the same ID mapped by association to (Record ID). It finally worked!
