the customer entered data and a date (birthdate, preferred delivery date) in a webform. This will be imported via ZAPIER Addin into HubSpot contacts.
Works.
But we noticed that the dates imported WRONG
e.g.
birthdate entered / Zapier logfile: 06.09.1972
birthdate HubSpot field: 08.06.1972
preferred delivery date entered / Zapier logfile: 05.09.2018
preferred delivery date HubSpot field:08.05.2018
Is this problem known by someone?

Short A: Your date formats don’t appear to match.
Longer A:
Without actually seeing your form, your Zap, AND your HubSpot portal we can safely say that the date formats appear to be different. Maybe in HubSpot they’re set to mm.dd.yy, but set to dd.mm.yy on either your form or in Zappier.
In either case, date formats need to either be aligned in all platforms or their format differences identified and allowed for.

I’m having a similar problem when doing a deal import using an Excel spreadsheet. The date format showing on my excel spreadsheet is dd/mm/yyyy and I am specifying that format in Hubspot. But when the import is complete either the date has reverted to mm/dd/yyyy or doesn’t show at all.
As far as I can tell all the date settings in Hubspot is in the correct format dd/mm/yyyy and I do think the problem originates in Excel - it appears to be changing the format back to mm/dd/yyyy on import.
Any ideas how to resolve this.
