I am thinking about using Hubspot (using free version for first month before upgrading) but having issues with import of a csv file. I get this error for days.

Try creating the property as described here before importing: Create and edit properties
You might get a more descriptive error message there - in the free CRM you might have hit your property limit already.
Keep in mind that there is a default “Create date” property which might to the same as your custom “Date added” for you.
