Import issues

I am trying to import from Filogix CRM to Hubspot. It is saying Ready to import contacts, 65 rows scanned, 0 issues found. Then says Notes can’t be created. Required properties not mapped.

So I have mapped everything but I cannot click Next as there is an issue with Notes, but I can’t seem to exclude them. I click on it and there’s a button that says Note Body but does nothing when I click it.

Hi @TWebber1989,

Are you trying to import contacts or contacts+notes?

If it’s the former, then you would simply go back in the import wizard to the point where you select your data sources. Unselect notes, then proceed, map your contact fields and Bob’s your uncle. All should be good.

Should that not work, simply cancel the import, start from scratch and pay attention to only select contacts as data source, not notes.

If you are also importing notes, then there are some required fields in your file that HubSpot is pointing out at the top of the mapping page, such as the note body.

Should this not resolve your issues, please share a screenshot of the mapping step of the import – and whether you want to import notes or not.

Best regards!

So I did what you said and now I have the import, and the previous three I
had. The issue I am now having is that none of the contacts show up when I
click View Contacts. I do not have any filters on or anything. I can see
them in the import, but not on the contacts page. It says there are none
when I click View Contacts from the import.

@TWebber1989 what does the import result screen show? Were there errors?

Have you waited a few minutes for HubSpot to populate the contact view?

Are you a Super Admin and definitely have permissions to view all records?

There were some errors. I can’t seem to find where to correct them in the
import. But it just says some things were not imported.
It’s been weeks since I did the first import with no luck, and this is my
fourth time trying. So it has definitely had time to add them.
I’m not sure if I’m a super admin, how would I check?

@TWebber1989 it’s hard to help without some details. How many records did you attempt to import? How many errors are there? Which errors exactly are being shown?

If you’re the only user in your portal, you’re likely a super admin. If you were invited, check with the person who invited you about your contact access permissions.

There’s only one error with a duplicate email. It’s about 56 files.

@TWebber1989 have you checked whether you’re a super admin? Manage user permissions
