Import from xlmx to existent ACTIVE contact list: possible? How?

I woud like to import new contacts from my file excel to an exitent and ACTIVE (not static) list.

How I can reach that goal? :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @AlleOtti,

To add contacts to an active list, you have two options: Add records to or remove records from a segment

  • Update the new imported records to meet the list criteria
  • Update the list criteria to include the new contacts, e.g. by setting up a filter “OR is in import”

please guide my step by step wit this example:

I have this xmls file on my PC, and i whant to put all the email data into the existent “test” ACTIVE LIST,

could you guide me in order to reach my goal? :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @AlleOtti,

First, you would import your file: Import records for multiple objects

The import will give you a new list.

Go into your existing list, add a new filter by clicking OR, then select “List membership” and find the list created from your import.
