Import Error - 'INVALID_ENUMERATION_OPTION'

Hi,

I’m trying to import a list of companies. The import failed and the error file says the following.

"

INVALID_ENUMERATION_OPTION

COMPANY

Can’t process ‘Religious’ into an enumeration option (from column ‘industry’)

"

I’m not exactly sure what this means and how to fix it.

Any tips or help is greatly appreciated.

It looks like you were trying to import an industry column into company records?

The company property Industry has approximately 150 pre-defined options to select from. When you were importing this file, HubSpot was checking whether ‘Religious’ was one of the existing values – and apparently it wasn’t. You would either have to change the ‘Religious’ cell in your import file to one of those 150 pre-defined options or add it as a new custom option.
