Import >1 email address per contact

Dear community,

we created a “Email” field and an additional “Private Email” field in pur CRM. As we want to delete the private email field I want to know a quick way to import the additional private email to the “Email” field.

In Hubspot itself we can add a further email address but is there any way to to it automatically (by import)?

If I try to add the additional private email adress into an excel column and then import that together with the correct email address there´ll be a fault notification.

If you want to overwrite the current ‘email’ address for a contact with the contents of what was the ‘private email’ address, then you will want to first export contacts from HubSpot to get their unique ID, then reimport them choosing the option to dedupe contacts based on the unique ID - that should allow you to overwrite email address without creating duplicates I think.
