Implementation of Bulk Import for Object Properties and Activities

Hello HubSpot team,

I have been using HubSpot for some time now and have identified two features that could greatly enhance efficiency and productivity for users like myself.

  1. Bulk Import of Object Properties: Currently, the creation of new properties has to be done manually, which can be quite a lengthy and tedious process, especially for users managing a large number of properties. I propose that HubSpot implements a feature allowing for the bulk import of object properties from a CSV file or similar. This would greatly streamline the process and result in significant time savings.
  2. Bulk export of Activities: Similarly, it would be extremely beneficial to be able to bulk export activities. This feature would be highly beneficial for users migrating from another CRM platform.

I strongly believe that these enhancements would have a significant impact on the HubSpot user experience and would help make HubSpot an even more powerful tool for CRM.

Hey Mathieu! Alex from the import/export team here. I appreciate this post. To consolidate feedback, I’d like to direct the ideas you’re bringing forward here to two other posts.

Bulk Create properties -- I just made a post here looking for some feedback. Would love to hear your thoughts on this :slightly_smiling_face:

Import/export activities (engagements) -- we’ve delivered the ability to import these activities, but are currently on pause on implementing the export of activities. Feel free to drop a like/comment on this post in the meantime, but until we’re able to support this, there are a number of marketplace providers who can help with this. You could also export these activities via the engagements API.
