I’m getting this prompt ‘CRM not linked’ again and again on my Hubspot interface. How to fix this?

Hello @ASharma732

The “CRM not linked” error usually means that a HubSpot feature, integration, or AI tool is trying to access CRM data, but the connection isn’t active or HubSpot can’t verify it properly.

From your screenshot, the error appears while you’re working inside the Data Quality/Data Agent area.

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Refresh the page and sign in again

  2. Check whether your CRM is actually enabled

    • Go to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps.

    • Check whether any connected app shows Disconnected, Expired, or Needs attention. Reconnect any app showing an error.

  3. Verify your email and calendar connection

  4. Clear your browser data

    • Clear your cache and cookies.

    • Try an Incognito window.

    • Try another browser.

  5. Check whether this is a HubSpot-side issue

    • Review the current system status here:

    HubSpot Status Page

That will help identify the exact cause.

Thank you,
Connected CRM Studio

Thanks @Connected-CRM-Studio, i tried these measures but the pop-up keeps coming. There are no disconnected or expired apps too. And the thing is, I’m getting this pop-up on multiple Hubspot users from my team.

Hi @ASharma732 and thanks for reaching out to the HubSpot Community!

It’s great also to have a screenshot, thanks for that!

I understand that this is happening to several users, thanks for sharing this important information. When looking at the Status page that @Connected-CRM-Studio shared (thank you!) I see that, at the moment, everything is operational.

Could you please try in an incognito window or clear the cache of your browser? I’ve just seen another HubSpot user this morning doing so and it helped resolve it.

However, I’d like to investigate this further for you since several users are affected, could you let us know whether it appears after any specific action, please?

With this information, we’ll be able to dig deeper and get things working smoothly for you!

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks,

- Please note, I’ll be out of the office until August 27th -

Hi @Berangere , thanks for the response. Deleting browser cache actually helped. Guess my teammate was previously deleting Hubspot cookies which wasn’t working.

Great to hear that clearing the browser cache did the trick, @ASharma732!

Thank you for letting us know that it worked, this will definitely help others Community Members facing a similar issue.

If you or your teammate have any more questions, feel free to reach out. We’re here to help! :orange_heart:

Have a wonderful weekend! :sun:

I’m experiencing the same thing - I tried everything and followed the above but nothing works

Hey @bh1,

Thanks for reaching out here!

Looking into other instances of this, it appears they’ve since been resolved by clearing the browser cache over a broader timeframe (e.g., selecting ‘Last 7 Days’ instead of 24 hours). Could you please give that a try?

If that doesn’t work, testing the page in an alternative browser like Chrome or Safari can help us isolate the problem.

Hope this helps!

Sam, Community Manager

I deleted the browsing history for the last 7 days, and it seems it didn’t work - any other solutions?

Is your Apollo integrated with HubSpot? If not, are you using the Apollo Chrome Extension?

If yes, the only fix we’ve found so far is to remove the extension. We’ve already reported the issue to Apollo Support and are currently waiting for an update from their engineering team.

Please send a report to Apollo as well so they’re aware that we’re not the only ones experiencing this issue. Thank you.

Im using Chrome - had the same issue. After you you clear your browswer data, cache , and cookies - you need to close yur bowser down completly. (I prefer to just restart my computer.) If you dont at lest restart the browser - the clearing doesnt take hold. Thats a step most miss.

The clear and reboot - solved it for me.

Hey team,
It seems deleting the browser cache helped for some time. Now the constant ‘CRM not linked’ issue is back and is not even going after deleting browser cache and history. It’s popping back like every 5-10 seconds. Can you suggest another solution?

Best
