1. The point of the forum (as stated) is to ‘Search, post, and collaborate on how we can improve HubSpot products’. As you’ve pointed out my suggestion will work, therefore it’s relevant to the thread. I never suggested it would negate the need for the feature.
2. My comment is more specific than the ‘official response’ and doesn’t involve clicking a link and having to interpret the manual. It enables someone to work around the challenge whilst the feature is not available and contrary to your statement, hack or otherwise, it will work in all cases
