Identifying who is visiting our website each day

Hi Folks,

Is there way to identify whcih contacts have visited our website on a given day?

I see how to identify contact activity if I’m already looking at a contact’s record, but not how to generate a list of records to look at.

Thanks!

Hi @nychd,

Yes, on the contact index page (Menu > Contacts > Contacts) you can filter for…

Time last seen: the last time and date the contact has viewed a page on your website. This is automatically set by HubSpot for each contact.

… and display the column …

Last page seen: the last page the contact saw on your website. This is automatically set by HubSpot for each contact.

Once set up, you can save this as a filtered view:

Best regards!

Thanks Karsten!

I know I can do that, but is there a way to identify someone who visited our page a week ago if they returned again yesterday?
The time they were last seen would be yesterday rather than a week ago.
Our long term goal is to figure out who is returning to our page frequently and not moving down the funnel.

Hi @nychd,

Not sure I caught the part about returning visitors in your original question (?)

In any case, have you considered simply filtering for “Number of sessions” > 1? That would answer the question of your long term goal.

You’re right, I didn’t say it explicitly.
My boss would like me to create a spereadsheet that breaks out the who are the visitors on a daily basis so we can identify which ones are returning. It seems like that isn’t possible and number of sessions is the closest we can get.
Personally, I don’t think looking with such granularity is worthwhile and frankly most of the repeats are probaly bots or automation of one form or another.
