Short A: Not built-in HubSpot functionality.
Longer A:
Since HubSpot properties (including custom properties) track historical data, the best way to handle this sort of use case would be to use a custom contact property -- maybe multiple checkbox or radio button. That way, you could use the ‘has ever been any of’ criteria in both smart lists and workflows to identify and report on the historical tracking of your contacts.

I ended up using a workflow and static list system for now, but adding a custom property is a great idea
