I want to add CloudFlare in wordpress

Can anyone guide me how i can add cloudflare in my websites? am getting bots clicks in my website so just need to clear my site

Hi @EPoul and welcome, we are so glad to have you on the HubSpot Community!
I see you’re looking to prevent bot clicks on your website by setting up Cloudflare protection, that’s a great step for site security!
While your question is focused on configuring WordPress and Cloudflare, which are products that are not developed by HubSpot, I want to point you in the right direction:

- For step-by-step Cloudflare setup, check out their official docs: https://developers.cloudflare.com/
- If you need help with WordPress integration, the WordPress.org support forums are a great resource.
- The Cloudflare WordPress plugin can also make the integration process smoother, you’ll find it in the WordPress plugin directory.
If you’re using HubSpot anywhere on your site and bot activity is impacting your HubSpot analytics, please let me know. I’m here to help with anything HubSpot-related! :orange_heart:

Good luck with your setup!
Bérangère

Hey @EPoul Bérangère covered the Cloudflare side well so. If bots are hitting your pages they can inflate your HubSpot traffic analytics and if they’re submitting forms they’ll create junk contacts in your CRM which messes with your lists and email deliverability down the road.

On the HubSpot side, go into your form editor and toggle on CAPTCHA under “Other form elements”, it uses Google’s reCAPTCHA v2 and will challenge suspicious traffic before they can submit. You can also exclude specific IP addresses and referrer domains in your HubSpot traffic analytics settings, and any form submissions from those blocked sources will automatically get flagged as spam (Prevent and filter spam in form submissions). That way Cloudflare handles the front door and HubSpot catches whatever slips through.
