Hey rhence, domain reconnection failures in HubSpot usually happen because of a CNAME collision in your DNS manager or Cloudflare’s proxy setting blocking the SSL handshake.
If you’re using Cloudflare, make sure the CNAME is set to ‘DNS Only’ (Grey Cloud), and verify your host field isn’t doubling your domain.
Should I check your DNS records real quick and tell you where it’s breaking?
im using squarespace domain
Hey @rhence,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
Tagging in a couple more domain experts to see if we can get some best next steps in an effort to troubleshoot this issue. @Humashankar and @SanjayKumar - do either of you have recommendations for @rhence?

Hey @rhence,
Let’s hold off on making any updates until we hear from some other users. I don’t want to run the risk of breaking your current setup.

Hello should I change this?
Hi there @rhence,
Thank you for posting to the Community! It looks like you are on a paid subscription. Have you tried reaching out to HubSpot Support? If not, I’d recommend doing so, as they will be able to take a look into your portal to see what’s going on.

Ok I will try
Hey Rhence, apologies for the radio silence here… I was heads-down finalizing a massive server/CRM migration for a client over the last few days and just caught up on my messages.
Looking back at your setup, are you still locked out of the HubSpot domain reconnection? If your team hasn’t cleared it yet, I have a window this afternoon to jump in, clear that DNS collision, and force the SSL verification through for you.
Let me know if you want me to knock this out for you today!
