I really like the new design. It’s easier on the eyes and looks slicker. Well done ![]()
“The burden of getting value out of a product sat squarely with the person using it.”
Well at least, the person could customize their interface. This is backwards, I agree. HubSpot dictates colors and oversimplified design. This new theme looks like the early days of WordPress… CTAs are no longer clear in this new theme update. Orange buttons and blueish/green bolded text popped. The rounded dark grey with text and dark green does not. Look at the screenshots shared - who at HubSpot thought a dark green is better? Annoying you cannot have user preferences to change this. ![]()
Seems like Hubspot is just waiting for this to blow over hoping people will just acclimate and carry on instead of give us what we’ve been asking for since they forced people to use hideous theme. There has been no updates or communication on wether we should expect a fix soon (a fix because you broke it, hubspot)
Seems like a typical “take it or leave it” culture at HubSpot… happy to upsell you more features to pay for that other platforms offer as part of the main package or change the interface and receive instant feedback that it’s a bad move yet ignore the feedback. That’s poor product management. Don’t get me wrong, I like HubSpot, using it for several years now across different organizations (I even recommend it to others) but the recent UI and workflow changes are bad.
The new format and colors are lifeless, dull, and more difficult to navigate for the common user. The change doesn’t reflect the inviting, vibrant colors of your logo or brand association. I have since working in HubSpot since 2019. I manage our CRM and represent many of our users - I hope we go back to the orange buttons and beyond! That said, I do like one of the changes - you’ve colored the icons when doing a global search so that it’s much easier to see which are deals, contacts and/ or a company - thanks for that.
Hi all, Since the new view has come out, I’ve been unable to update signatures. We add the HTML from HubSpot Signature tool and select HTML - Save and have it set to global default signature and it won’t save. Anyone else having this issue? We have cleared cookies.
I’ve passed this on to the team to take a look at to see if it might be a bug! We appreciate you mentioning this and hopefully can get this resolved soon.
This is really helpful feedback, and we appreciate how specific you were with this write-up! This helps our team identify where they can improve the experience to increase the usability.
Hi Sophie, I just noticed one specific UI issue:
In the “Confirm your changes” dialog, the placeholder text looks almost like text that has already been entered, so at first glance I thought the field was already filled in.
It might be helpful to make the placeholder more visually distinct from actual input.
Can we please make this go away! If you have used HubSpot for more than 5 minutes you know that every time you click to view the associated records, it is a temporary view. All this notification is doing is slowing down the load of the records and taking up space. Or give us the ability to turn it off system wide.
