For a long time, software asked something of you before it gave anything back. You learned the tool, navigated to the right place, and figured out how to accomplish your task. The burden of getting value out of a product sat squarely with the person using it.
We think that’s backwards, and we’re changing it.
Over the past year, we’ve been rethinking what HubSpot looks and feels like. Not just visually, but fundamentally. How should the product help you start your work day? How should it surface what matters most without you having to go find it? How should AI fit into your workflow as something that already knows what you’re looking at and what you probably need next?
The answer is happening in two stages: The first is a visual refresh (which you can switch to now), and the second is a deeper reimagining of how the product works (rolling out in stages over the next 6 months).
What’s Changing Now: A Cleaner, More Modern HubSpot
We’re rolling out a refreshed visual experience in the HubSpot web UI, which is part of an ongoing journey toward a more modern, streamlined user interface. The update brings a lighter overall feel, cleaner typography, and more intentional spacing. We’ve moved away from heavy headers toward views that let the content itself take center stage.
We’re intentionally releasing our new look and feel gradually starting with a fresh visual theme, so the full redesign feels familiar, not jarring, when it arrives and you’re ready to turn it on.
What’s not changing: The navigation and structure you already know aren’t changing, so there’s nothing to relearn. The new look is available now to try out early and get familiar with before we roll it out to all customers on August 31, 2026. It’s the same HubSpot, just cleaner and faster to work from.
How to make the switch: Starting Tuesday June 30, 2026, you’ll be able to go into your HubSpot portal and opt into our public beta to try the new theme out and make the switch early.
Where HubSpot is Headed
The visual refresh is just the beginning. The bigger change we’re working toward is a version of HubSpot that doesn’t just look better, it actually does more of the work for you. Right now, getting value out of HubSpot means knowing where to go and how to do what you want once you get there. That’s a lot of product knowledge standing between you and the work that actually matters. So we’re changing that.
Start every day knowing what matters
When you log into HubSpot, you’ll immediately see what needs your attention: which follow-ups are overdue, which deals have gone quiet, and what actions you should take without having to hunt for it. HubSpot will surface a prioritized view of your day and guide you toward the actions that matter most.
Insights before you even open a record
Your index pages, where you manage all your CRM records, are getting smarter too. The lists you already work from will display metrics, insights, and smarter filtering alongside your records. You won’t need to build a report or pull a dashboard to see trends or understand performance.
Take action faster
HubSpot will also make it obvious what to do next, not leave you to figure it out on your own. For example, when you open a deal record, the context you need will already be surfaced: what’s happened recently, how engagement is trending, and what next action makes sense.
When you’re ready to take action, Breeze will help you execute. Whether that’s drafting a follow-up email, logging a note, or moving a deal forward, you choose what to act on and Breeze does the heavy lifting for you.
Run your marketing from one place
For marketers, these changes show up in a meaningful way. A refreshed marketing experience brings your campaigns, automation, content, and performance into a single, connected view. AI surfaces insights from your CRM data and past performance, and tells you exactly where to focus. Everything you need to plan, execute, and measure is in one place, with fewer clicks to get there.
Tell HubSpot what you want, Breeze figures out the rest
This is the bigger shift, and it’s the one we’re most excited about. In the version of HubSpot we’re building, Breeze is becoming a more central part of how HubSpot works. It understands where you are in the product, so if you’re on a contact record and ask a question, Breeze already knows you’re likely asking about that contact.
From there, Breeze can help you do things that used to require navigating somewhere else entirely: building reports on the fly, generating shareable artifacts, surfacing answers from your own data. And if your question isn’t fully formed yet, that’s fine too. Breeze will ask clarifying questions and present you with options. You won’t need to create a perfect prompt to get something useful back.
What’s Changing on Mobile
The mobile app will also be updated to match the new look and feel, and to take a meaningful step toward the same platform direction. We’re making targeted updates to the areas that make the biggest difference, so the app feels like it belongs to the same HubSpot you’ll experience on desktop.
Visually, the heavy header is going away in favor of a lighter surface, with updated card layouts and iconography that make the app feel more modern. And the unified Breeze and search input is coming to mobile too, so you can ask questions and get answers straight from your phone.
This Is the Start of Something Bigger
The new look is the foundation. What we’re building on top of it is a version of HubSpot that shows you what’s happening in your business, what it means, and what to do next, so you spend less time figuring out the product and more time driving better outcomes.
