Hubspot - Zapier - Bigquery: Deals updates

Hello,

I would like to retrieve the deal and deal stage information with a timestamp, every time the deal changes its stage in the pipeline.

With the trigger: ‘Updated deal stage’ I have to set it up for each stage the deal goes through, correct?

Meaning, if the deal has 8 stages, I will have to create 8 zaps.

Is there an easier way to set this up?

The end destination is a table in Bigquery.

Kind regards,

Mary

Hi @MarySas,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

I wanted to tag in a couple of subject matter experts to see if they have any input on this matter:

Hi @Ben_M, @louischausse, @StjepanGrcic, do you have any advice for @MarySas? Thank you!

Hello, I am trying with the trigger Webhook - Catch, but I don’t know where should I place the URL from zapier in Hubspot. Can you help me here?

Thank you,

Mary

Personally I would start by keeping this data within your Hubspot database and running a similar workflow there. Whereby your workflow looks for the deal stage being known and then a branch to populate a timestamp field for each stage.

For the Zap, if it doesn’t require the Deal Stage name, then you could run the same zap whenever a Deal Stage updates, but the Zap would need to populate all timestamps from your Hubspot timestamp properties from my example above.

You could also look into Google’s own integration with Hubspot to collect the data if Zapier is not efficient enough for your requirements ( HubSpot  |  Integration Connectors  |  Google Cloud Documentation ).

Hello @MarySas

If you have access to Pro then setting the Timestamp with HubSpot Workflow when a deal moves to next stage is best practice. Then you just need to map the properties from HubSpot to BigQuery.

Hello,

Thank you for the response.

Do you think there is a step by step for this? I am new in the field.

I really appreciate your help,

Mary

Hi,

If Zapier is not sufficient for your needs (if you need to sync historical data as well) you can consider another service named Skyvia. They have 2 products that can be used for this case. Data integration is for syncing data between 2 systems in any direction. Automation works the same as Zapier (trigger-action approach) but is a more feature-rich tool.

Hope it will be useful
