You’ve got Deals, Tasks, and Automated Follow-Ups—but how do you personalize relationship-building inside HubSpot? Do you use custom properties, pipeline stages, or lead scoring for long-term engagement? --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
Victor - I likely could use HubSpot more efficiently as I rely a lot on my own art, intuition (and memory) too much IMO. As a simple overview, I gather likely candidates to reach out to via various sources, like LI Nav, add them to sequencing campaign tools, once they respond I add to HubSpot and from that point on I use HubSpot as my go-to reference for all things related to that contact. I think that is pretty basic vanilla stuff. BUT, what I do initially is try to build relationships at a professional level (not sales or similar) to build a relationship - this takes time. to answer your specific follow-up. I do not personally use custom properties, pipeline stages, or lead scoring for long-term engagement - this is simply due to the fact that my own reach-out audience is a smaller # than most. but, I need to do all of this for myself soon #neartermgoals

Hey Michael!
Sounds like you’ve got a solid approach to relationship-building—it’s refreshing to see a focus on genuine connections instead of just transactions. I’m curious to know, how do you balance building authentic relationships with scaling your outreach efforts? Are there specific tools or techniques that have worked well for you? --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
hmmm. balance?
. I am not sure to answer that other than to say I just do it. Fortunately I like speaking and meeting people (despite being an introvert) and I somehow get it done. That said, of course I could do a lot more with proper automation (to a certain point) --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
Love that, Michael Hudlow !!
Sounds like you’ve found a rhythm that works for you—even if it feels a bit like magic behind the scenes. And totally agree—smart automation can definitely give us a bit more breathing room (without losing the human touch). --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
