I do not remmeber ticking a box saying that i was ok to receive “spam” from companies i never engaged with or never talked or never heard of..on the contrary they know everything about me and i suspect hubspot to sell my data to “partners” of them and i have zero link to refuse or unsubscribe which look slike a violation of GDPR at some point.
Am i the only on to feel that and how to get rid of those spam list forever ?
I have experienced the same. After signing up with Hubspot, I’ve gotten a huge increase in spam to my inbox, also with companies I’ve never engaged with or heard of…
I know this is a bit old, but I just came across your post, and I’ve had a somewhat similar experience.
Did you every register or attend any HubSpot sponsored trainings or events (online)? I have, and made the mistake of checking the box that it was OK to share my email with their event partners and from that point forward I’ve received so much more spam that previously (all marketing and hubspot focused).
It may not be HubSpot directly, but one of their “partners” may be the culprit.
