Hey everyone,
Hope you’re all doing well.
Quick question: Once a custom event is created (a tracking for download button clicks in my case), how do I add this as a HubSpot Score?
For example if the button is clicked, this is 10 HS Score.
I’ve created the custom event, but looks like, Custom Events are not part of the scoring criteria and the legacy behavioral events look like emtpy.
Thanks,
Hi @md2727 !
I would try creating this button as a CTA! That way, you could pull in values on the CTA for lead scoring.
Good luck - you’ve got this! ![]()

Hello @MadisonMoniz ,
Thanks for your answer. I just created a new CT but it doesn’t appear under the Calls-to-action (Legacy) section when I try to add it.
Any idea how I can locate the new CTA?
Hi @md2727 ! It looksl like it only wants to pull the legacy CTA actions. Bummer!
Instead, if I were in your shoes I would use the list membership feature to score by. You can create an active Contact list to pull in anyone who has clicked that CTA, then use that active list as a List Membership is any of ‘your new list’, to add to the scoring property.
That’s exactly what I did, thanks!
