Hey @Ericsonds. The first thing to check is your business location. HubSpot Payments is currently available only to businesses in the US, UK, and Canada, with a matching local bank account and a paid HubSpot subscription. If the business is outside those countries, Stripe may be the only available payment processor.
HubSpot Payments and Stripe payment processing both let you create HubSpot payment links, invoices, quotes, and recurring subscriptions. Both create payment and subscription records in HubSpot that can be used in segments, workflows, and reporting.
The main difference is that HubSpot Payments is HubSpot’s built-in processor, while Stripe payment processing connects your existing Stripe account. With the Stripe option, transactions are visible in HubSpot, but payout and payment reporting are managed in Stripe. Also, subscriptions created through HubSpot are managed in HubSpot and are not created as Stripe subscriptions.
Stripe Data Sync is different: it synchronizes data between Stripe and HubSpot but is not the same as selecting Stripe as the payment processor for HubSpot checkout.
