HubSpot New Form Builder - Change Phone Number Country Name to Flag

HI All,

Is there a way to change the conuntry code text on the phone numbers e.g

To country flags e.g

as im finding artciles in the help centre with some in e.g : https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Lead-Capture-Tools/Default-country-code-in-new-form-builder/m-p/1041943
but i cant find it in the settings anywhere.
Thanks!

Hey @A-Turner the default should be a flag anyway and this can’t be edited. This looks like it might be a bug in your editor.

@MiaSrebrnjak this might be good to raise with the product team!

The issue is onb all windows computers.
I already cheked it on all my pc computers, macbook and android devices.

@HouseOFC What browser are you using? The forms might be relying on a browser rendering of an element. Does this happen on all browsers on windows for you?

Chrome, Edge on PC.
Chrome, Safari on Mac.
Chrome on Android.

I’m from Israel, and my clients are from Germany.
The first time I saw the problem was on Zoom when my client shared his screen.
I thought that maybe the problem was with the VPN or something, but after checking on a couple of workstations, I figured out that the problem occurs on all Windows devices.

I can’t seem to recreate this issue @HouseOFC if you have a paid HubSpot account I’d recomend reaching out to HubSpot support, otherwise @PamCotton maybe this is something to check with the product team on?

I have tried all possible browsers. On Windows, I tested Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, and they all displayed “de” instead of the flag.

On MacOS and Android, all browsers work correctly and display the flag image.

This is also what my forms look like. a flag would be cooler… what is the deal?

Hi @jwright,

Thanks for adding to the thread!

The post that @A-Turner added (this post) seems to give the updated option, but more specifically this can be found when clicking into the Phone Number property field in the form editor. In the left column, you can add the country code as a Default Value which should in result show the corresponding flag!

Hope this helps!

I know this what i am trying to figure out is how to make it a flag. i thought that was the topic of this post.

Hey @jwright,

Apologies for misunderstanding the issue there! I appreciate you clarifying that for me. In this case, @TomM2’s reply would still be relevant here. I too am not able to reproduce that same behavior on my end and can only see the flag represented on my forms. With that in mind, I would suggest reaching out to Support if this behavior persists.

Thanks for your patience here and hope this helps point you in the right direction!
