HubSpot Form to Smartsheet

Hi! I am looking for someone that has synced a hubspot form to a smartsheet.
I need all the tips tricks app recommendations.

The easier the better. THanks.

Yes this is a super common setup, and the easiest way usually depends on how “clean” vs “no-code” you want it.

From what I’ve seen:

Option 1 (simplest): HubSpot Data Sync app

  • HubSpot has a native Smartsheet Data Sync integration
  • It supports 1-way or 2-way sync depending on setup
  • Good for basic contacts / rows syncing, but limited logic flexibility
:backhand_index_pointing_right: This is the cleanest “plug and play” option

Option 2: Zapier / Make (more flexible)

  • Trigger: HubSpot form submission
  • Action: Create/update row in Smartsheet
  • You can map fields exactly how you want (and add filters, formatting, etc.)
:backhand_index_pointing_right: This is usually what people use when they want full control

Common gotchas I’ve run into:

  • Field types must match (dropdown vs text is a big one)
  • Duplicates happen if email isn’t used as the unique key
  • Smartsheet often behaves better when it’s treated as “output/reporting” not the system of record

If your goal is “easy + reliable”, I’d start with Zapier first, then move to native sync if you want fewer moving parts later.

Curious are you trying to sync contacts only, or also deal/form-level data? That changes the best setup a lot.

thanks for reminder

Thank you. I am actually trying to sync form submissions to a smartsheet intake sheet. @fakhruddiin

Hey @AHeck10,

Thanks for bringing this to the Community!

It looks like Smartsheet has their own integration in the HubSpot Marketplace that may be worth looking into!

I’d also like to tag in some of our Top Contributors to see if they have any tips and tricks on this!

Hey @EugeneAtKiwi, @CarolinaDeMares, @MichaelMa -- Do you have any additional suggestions for @AHeck10 on this?

Thanks in advance!

Best,

Sam, Community Manager
