Hello:
We are trying to configure HubSpot to send our emails through our Google Workspace domain. We have had DMARC setup for well over a year, but the HubSpot ‘domain connector’ wizard does not recognize it. the wizard found and passed the DKIM and SPF validations, but it keeps saying that the dmarc record is missing when its obviously in place.

Any suggestions?
@SCS_Marketing The HubSpot wizard will only pick it up if the host is set to _dmarc and since yours has _dmarc.senticon-security.com it’s not finding a match.
If your dmarc is properly configured, which it looks to be, then there is no reason why you should need to change it for the authentication in HubSpot - the wizard is just that, a tool to tell you whether it is properly configured, but it won’t determine whether your emails are successful.
If you want to verify everything is set up correctly to send from HubSpot, you can run a test with https://learndmarc.com/ by adding the test email address as a contact and then sending a marketing email so you can verify all of the configurations in real time.
Thank you! I got the impression that I had to ‘pass’ the tests of the tool in order for it to be functional. I created a test email and sent it, and it worked perfectly using the normal Hubspot process. The Learndmarc.com site is great for debugging the entire configuration, so I appreciate your sharing!
you’re welcome @SCS_Marketing, thankfully the tests are not a blocker - that would be a nightmare for many reasons, I’m glad the debug tool was helpful!
