This question is specific to Hubspot CMS Users —
We recently migrated to Hubspot CMS from a different CMS and we’re currently using a 3rd party tool to manage cookies and consent (Yes!Cookie). I know Hubspot has cookie consent management built in, but in the past it was difficult to implement and manage with all the third party scripts. Does that change if you’re on Hubspot CMS?
Or is there still a need for a 3rd party tool that simplifies all of this and keeps us compliant?
Hey @LNg47 - thanks for posting in the Community!
Would you mind clarifying the specific issues you and your team were experiencing with implementing and managing HubSpot’s cookies and consent settings? I want to make sure we’re getting you specific advice from the Community!

You could save money by using the HubSpot consent management and you’ll still be compliant, it’s a very capable tool. It can handle third party scripts no problem.
It would be helpful for you to have an internal step-by-step guide on how to add scripts to the CMS so the banner can add the cookies/tracking you want. Normally scripts are added to the Site header HTML but it depends on the scenario.
