Hubspot CMS Expert needed: Organic traffic diagnosis + technical SEO expert

We’re looking for an experienced HubSpot CMS developer/engineer for two related projects on our mortgage company’s website, homelifemtg (~125 pages, custom HubSpot theme).

Project 1 — Performance & Compliance. We have a completed audit covering script cleanup, image optimization, a redirect fix, mobile tap targets, ADA/WCAG accessibility, and CCPA/privacy compliance. No redesign needed — design, CTAs, and SEO structure stay as-is. Full written audit ready to share.

Project 2 — Organic Traffic Diagnostic (priority). After rolling out updated content over the past 7-8 weeks, organic traffic dropped significantly. We need someone to diagnose whether this is indexing, canonical, sitemap, internal linking, redirect/404, or HubSpot config — versus a tracking issue. We’re asking for a capped diagnostic phase before any fix work is quoted.

Looking for: deep, hands-on HubSpot CMS development (HubL, modules, templates) plus real technical SEO chops — not just marketing-side HubSpot. Comfortable working from a written audit. Clear, proactive communicator. Able to start soon.

Solo freelancers, contractors, and small studios all welcome — we’re looking for depth of HubSpot CMS and technical SEO experience over agency size. Hourly or fixed-fee considered. Possible ongoing work beyond this engagement for the right fit.

Reply with relevant project examples (performance optimization, technical SEO recovery, or ADA/CCPA work a plus) and your rate/availability — happy to share both documents directly.

Hi,

I’m a Certified HubSpot CMS Developer with extensive experience in custom HubSpot theme development, HubL, custom modules, HubDB, CRM integrations, website performance optimization, and technical SEO troubleshooting.

Your project aligns well with my expertise, particularly because it combines deep HubSpot CMS development with technical SEO analysis rather than marketing-only support.

For Project 1, I can work directly from your completed audit and implement the required improvements, including script optimization, image optimization, redirect fixes, mobile usability enhancements, ADA/WCAG accessibility updates, and privacy/compliance-related changes while preserving the existing design, CTAs, and SEO structure.

For Project 2, I can perform a structured diagnostic phase to identify the root cause of the organic traffic decline. This would include reviewing indexing status, canonical tags, sitemap configuration, internal linking, redirects, crawl errors, HubSpot settings, analytics/tracking implementation, and technical SEO signals to determine whether the issue is search-related or measurement-related before recommending any remediation work.

Relevant experience includes:
• Custom HubSpot CMS theme and module development
• Website performance optimization and Core Web Vitals improvements
• Technical SEO audits and recovery projects
• HubSpot migrations and site architecture improvements
• ADA/WCAG accessibility enhancements
• Cookie consent, privacy, and compliance implementations

I’m available to start immediately and would be happy to review both the audit document and the traffic diagnostic materials. After reviewing the documents, I can provide a clear scope, timeline, and estimate for the diagnostic phase.

The traffic decline stood out to me because it’s one of those situations where the visible problem and the actual problem are often two different things.

A drop in organic traffic after a content rollout can be caused by several factors indexing issues, canonical conflicts, sitemap errors, redirect changes, internal linking gaps, crawlability problems, HubSpot CMS configurations, or even tracking discrepancies. Before making any changes, I’d want to understand exactly where the breakdown occurred and whether the issue is technical, structural, or measurement-related.

At the same time, the audit implementation work appears fairly straightforward given that the findings have already been documented. My focus there would be executing the recommendations around performance, redirects, accessibility, and compliance while ensuring the site’s existing design, conversion paths, and SEO foundation remain unaffected.

My preferred approach would be:

• Review the completed audit and prioritize implementation items based on impact and risk.
• Run a diagnostic assessment to isolate the root cause of the traffic decline.
• Document findings and recommendations before any remediation work begins.
• Implement fixes in a controlled manner and validate results after deployment.

If you’d be open to sharing the audit and traffic data, I’d be happy to review both and discuss the most sensible path forward

Hi,

I’d be happy to help with both projects. I’m a Senior HubSpot CMS and Front-End Developer with strong hands-on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing custom HubSpot CMS themes, templates, modules, HubDB-driven pages, and HubL-based components.

Your project sounds like a good fit because it combines the areas I work with most: HubSpot CMS development, performance cleanup, accessibility improvements, and technical SEO troubleshooting.

For Project 1 — Performance & Compliance, I can work directly from your completed audit and implement the required fixes while keeping the current design, CTAs, and SEO structure intact. I’m comfortable handling script cleanup, image optimization, responsive/mobile issues, accessibility/WCAG improvements, template/module updates, and privacy-related implementation tasks inside HubSpot.

For Project 2 — Organic Traffic Diagnostic, I agree that a capped diagnostic phase is the right approach before quoting any fix work. I would review the recent content rollout, HubSpot configuration, indexing signals, canonical tags, sitemap status, internal linking, redirects, 404s, tracking setup, and any template-level SEO issues to help identify whether the drop is technical, content/indexing-related, or analytics/tracking-related.

Relevant experience includes:

  • Custom HubSpot CMS theme and module development using HubL, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and HubSpot CLI.
  • HubSpot template and module optimization for performance, maintainability, and responsive behavior.
  • Technical SEO implementation across HubSpot websites, including metadata, canonical setup, structured content, internal linking, redirects, and page/template-level cleanup.
  • Accessibility-focused frontend updates, including mobile tap targets, semantic markup, keyboard-friendly UI, and WCAG-aligned improvements.
  • Working from written audits and QA documents to implement fixes without unnecessary redesign changes.

Recent HubSpot/CMS-related project examples include work on websites such as:

I’m available for remote contract or freelance work and can start soon. I’d be happy to review the audit and organic traffic diagnostic brief, then propose a capped initial phase with clear deliverables, findings, and recommended next steps before any larger implementation work is quoted.
