# Hubspot built intercom data sync not working...

I have set up and configured the Hubspot to Intercom data sync. The sync is one way, Hubspot to Intercom and is matching on a field I know has identical values.

The Hubspot sync is reporting the data is synced (monthly value and other fields) but when I look in Intercom this is not the case.

Is the Hubspot/Intercom data sync application broken?

The HubSpot Intercom integration is provided by Intercom – it would be best to reach out to Intercom support directly about this. You can find the support email address in the right sidebar here: [HubSpot Marketplace](https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/intercom)

@KWitt we’re looking at different apps. Here’s the one I had linked:

Hi @KWitt , I’ve seen this a few times.  
First, confirm you’re on the “Intercom Data Sync” app that’s built by HubSpot, not the Intercom-built HubSpot app.  
The Data Sync one looks like this and supports one way or two way with mappings and resyncs ([HubSpot Marketplace](https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/intercom-data-sync)).  
If you are on Data Sync by HubSpot, a quick checklist: open Settings \> Data Sync and run a Resync, then review Sync health to see excluded records or mapping type mismatches  
HubSpot’s guide shows where to resync and what gets synced, plus limits like read only fields not updating ([Connect and use HubSpot data sync](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/integrations/connect-and-use-hubspot-data-sync)).  
For what it’s worth, we built Stacksync for cases like this when teams need reliable two way sync and field level change handling. If native sync keeps drifting, happy to share a short pilot and some practical advices. Hope this helps
