Hi I’m trying to sort out my company’s hubspot, here is the scenario, I hope someone can help or point me somewhere:
They have the Marketing subscription.
10 users
Using it since 2016
About 30k records
Is there a best practice way to adapt or refine current database so that the business development team could use it in a more integrated way with the marketing data. E.g. tags created by marketing team which the BD team can use for leads, using Properties effectively etc.
I realise this is quite a broad question, I guess I’m looking for examples where the data collected by marketing activities can be tagged and searchable for the BD team to find opportunities.
Hope I’ve made sense! Thanks in advance.

Hey @ELar7

To adapt or refine your current database for integrated use by your business development team with marketing data, follow these best practices:

1. Identify Key Objectives
2. Segment Contacts
3. Utilize Tags Effectively
4. Regularly Clean Up the Database:
5. Train Your Team
6. Monitor and Adjust

For more detailed guidance, refer to HubSpot’s resources on managing your CRM database:[HubSpot CRM Management](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/get-started/manage-your-crm-database).
