I came across a record in my Hubspot database that used to be (yesterday!) first name: “Manager Research” last name: “”.
Now it reads first name: “Manager Research” last name: “Jason”.
The email for the record is jneil@xxxxxx.com.
Looking at property history I see the attached screenshot:
Turns out the “J” indeed stands for “Jason”, but it’s the first name, not the last name.
Upon further investigation I found about 15 records where the “Hubspot AI” has changed the last names in my contact records.
Shouldn’t there be some confirmation that I want this done? How can I quality control my data if an unruly AI is changing stuff without asking?
I really am getting close to ditching Hubspot.
