HubSpot achieves SOC 1 Type 2 certification

There’s a lot of momentum right now around the idea that you can build (or rebuild) your entire go-to-market stack from scratch. But once you’ve built it, a harder question surfaces - one that doesn’t get answered in a demo. It comes up in procurement reviews, when your auditors ask: if this platform touches our revenue data, how do we know the controls are sound? That’s a question about trust. And now HubSpot can answer it.

We’ve completed our first SOC 1 Type 2 report, an independent review that gives your finance team and auditors third-party assurance over the controls that matter when HubSpot is part of how you run revenue. It’s the certification your procurement team asks for by name, particularly if your company is subject to SOX compliance.

SOC 1 Type 2 is evidence of what a company has actually done, not what it intends to do. That kind of verified track record takes years to build, regardless of how fast a product is moving, or how recently it was founded.

This report joins HubSpot’s existing SOC 2 Type 2 report and HIPAA attestation. Customers and prospects can request access at trust.hubspot.com, or reach out to your account team if you’re in an active evaluation.
