I have an HS workflow and it has an action there to call to a webhook. Sometimes it is calling to the webhook. But sometimes it takes too much time. Is there any limitation to using the webhook in HS workflow?

Hi @dmadusanka 👋

Here’s the only [HubSpot documentation](https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/workflows/webhook_information) I can find where limits are defined for Workflow webhooks. Note that it’s a legacy doc, so the information may no longer be accurate. Regardless, I think it might give you a reasonable indication of the limits HubSpot applies to this feature. Here’s a copy of the limitations I’m referring to:

* * *

_Webhooks follow these rules for connecting and retrying requests:_

- _Workflows wait up to three seconds to connect to a tcp socket. If this fails, HubSpot will retry._
- _Workflows wait up to 30 seconds for a response (aka request timeout)._
- _Workflows **will not** retry after receiving 4XX series response status codes._
  - _One exception to this rule is 429 rate limit errors; workflows will automatically retry after receiving a 429 response, and will respect the Retry-After header if present._

- _Workflows **will** retry after receiving a 5xx series error._
  - _When we encounter a 5xx error, the request will be retried over the next 3 days before failing permanently._

- _Workflows will issue webhook attempts at up to 20 requests per second._

I hope this proves useful. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
