HS pages not showing

Hey all,

Need some serious help getting HS to show my pages.

I host my own websites, and my page DNS point to one of my other pages. No problem there. I have put a CNAME record for the site in question, but still no joy.

When I go to my website, diamondkproperties.com, I still get the crappy index placeholder page, nothing from HS.

If I put in www.diamondkpropeties.com, I get a 404 error.

If I put in diamondkpropeties.com, I go to the crappy index page.

I have connected domain, shows connected. I have changed CNAME record, though that might not be completely right as all the fields don’t match right up.

And, I have removed the tick mark on the language page.

So, after no joy with HS chat, because I’m still at the free stage, and about 10 days of working on this, and after doing their troubleshooting page, and reading more than 30 pages on this forum, I’m asking for help. Please.

I took a look at your linked website and I’m seeing a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error. This is typically due to a misconfiguration or problem with your DNS.

This is a client-side DNS issue and this is documented in this external article. I would recommend going through the troubleshooting steps in the linked article and partnering with your DNS provider/IT team if the recommend steps in the article do not resolve this.

Thanks. Have done several of these “step by step” things, maybe even this one, nothing has solved my problem. I will get through this one later today though.

This was more about browser than about why my pages aren’t showing.

Thanks. Still don’t have it figured out. I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the CNAME but I have redone that several times also. Will even try it, yet again, today.

@SpecialKaye were you able to get your website DNS resolved?

If not, I’m happy to jump on a call and figure it out together.

Okay, Kristen. Worked through this. And, no, that is not the problem. But, the problem you’re seeing is because I typed the original name incorrectly. Should read: diamondkpropertiesllc.com.

Still have the same problem: My HS pages do not show. My crappy INDEX.HTML page does still show at the correct website address. My DNS still points to where my pages are located, and the CNAME record has been changed to what I could put into the right places as the forms do not match up. But, no HS pages show.

Now, my “Redirected Domains” is showing my HS pages are redirected to my domain name. That’s not right. Nor, did I do a redirect, IIRC. So, here’s the problem, I think. It should be the other way around, if a redirect at all.
